Kinda a dumd DVD/BR Digital copy question :)

ok so on ebay i won an auction for the lord of the rings digital copies. i guess who ever bought it didnt have a ipod or whatever, but the movies r on my ipod now, but will it hurt the disc or my ps3 if i try to watch the dvd in my player or is the digital copy just as good as a regular dvd ?

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can play a Digital Copy disc after you copy it.

Digital Copies = Ridiculous DRM. Hook your ipod to your ps3 and try to play the file that way.
