As I said in another topic, I've decided to make some logos for FPR, and now have three saves worth of them done. Some of these were requests to Dragonkin, who did the prep work, but didn't get to draw them in the game yet, so I finished them through my trusty h4x0ring methods. All attached files are zipped Max Drive saves.

One question, though. Dragonkin was originally going to make the All Japan logo for his next pack. Any chance of still getting that? (Dragon Gate or BJW wouldn't bother me either, lol).

I actually had planned to do the logos for all three WWE brands together, but I wasn't happy with how the Smackdown logo looked at the time I was converting the others. I've cleaned it up a little since then, so I'll see what it looks like in the game soon.

The All Japan logo was in fact one of the first six that I converted, but the image didn't look as good in the game as it did in the paint program, IMO. My issue with it was the stray white pixels around the outside of the logo, which stand out on the dark background (like on most of FPR's screens where you'd see the logo). My idea was to have a thicker outline around the whole design, like how the Olive Japan logo (which is supposed to be reminiscent of the AJPW one) used to be (as illustrated in this comparison shot of logos for the GBA games), but I haven't tried to do it for the FPR version yet.

EDIT: I actually just did that a few minutes after posting this. AJPW will be in the next save, whenever that may be finished...

The old Royal Rumble Logo is going to go perfect for my "LJN Series Pack". I've re-created all of the wrestlers from the 91', '93, '94 era LJN WWF video games. All versions of every wrestler in the game series, from Genesis, SNES, to Sega CD. Should be a cool little pack, as I've visually modified the wrestlers to give them a more 'cartoon-oriented' feel. I brightened the main surface area of the wrestlers just a touch, and darkened the shadows and contour lines to give them a true 2-D gradiated palette.

The Royal Rumble Logo comes at a great time.

This is soooooo awesome!! For now on, UBL matches will have the UBL Logo! It was meant to be and brought to us by the help of DragonKin and Jason Blackhart!! they have their legitimate move templates from the era. i did this more so, for looks, not content. i used to play those old LJN video games all the time, so the wrestler appearances from those games really stuck with me. i'm actually quite pleased with the results. i'll try to get some screen captures up soon.

I think that is really cool. I had WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Raw for SNES and Genesis but I never knew there was a Sega CD version.

The Sega CD game was called WWF Rage in the Cage, it was the only WWF game in the 16 bit era to have a cage match as an option. Otherwise it's just like Royal Rumble.
