Once you get used to moving around the editor, logos take from a few hours to a few days, based on complexity (number of colors.)

I made my first logo, it's a bootleg looking WWF logo, attitude era. It looks sorta like it too, like enough so that I am super happy with it, since I don't have a MaxDrive.

The tutorial is great, its helped me understand how to naviagate the menu.
but......

Can anyone explain these tools in detail? I get the first few, but the last 2?
WTF? The last one seems like you can change where and how the logo is placed but it all seems to put it in the middle anyway. and the other tool is a mystery.

the last tool is the transform tool, you can use it to resize, and move your logo, make sure that you hit confirm before exiting tho or else it leaves it in the middle at normal size.

Thanks for this guide. Without it, I never would have made the classic Nitro logo I love so much.

What about the next option in the transform tool. R <-> A..?

And the FR tool?

I have the logo editor pretty much figured out and I don't know what those things do. I can only tell you this: I have created some very detailed logos and there was no need to use those options. So I can tell you to just master the basics and you'll be fine.

I'm not sure what those things do either, I just learned how to make logos using this tutorial, I made a pretty nice WWF Attitude logo by taking the text tool and making a giant W, and then I like sorta drew a transparent W inside the W, so that it was 2 W's, ya know? then I just made the F. I've gotten pretty good at making text logos, I made the old white ECW logo with the barbed wire running thru it.

When you say you didn't like the way it turned out, how many colors were you using? If your logo is 64 colors, and it will be at least that much since it is a gradient, your logo should look exactly the way it is posted on here. When you are dealing with gradients you have to wait until you are about halfway done before things start coming together when you go to critique it. You also have to allow yourself at least a couple of months when you are dealing with 64 colors because you have hundreds of pixels and only a handful are the same RGB color. Here's a logo I made of my company I use that took me weeks to finish:

http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n476 ... omatch.png

Also, did you create this logo or did someone else? There are tools on certain graphics design programs that can reduce the number of colors to help speed along the drawing process on the logo editor. If you want a really kick ass logo, you can get away with using 32 colors. I use Corel Draw X5 combined with Corel Photo Paint to make all my logos. It is an investment one should think about making if you love using the logo editor on the game. I'm hoping in time if another version of FPR comes out they will have a a logo uploader instead. Only time will tell.

a bit of a noob question here, but i've already made some logos for my FPRSUPERfeds, made in Ulead PhotoImpact, and i believe they have a transparent background ..... but i can put them onto a background the same colour as the potential ring if it isn't

here's one just to show off
Image

that's really the simplest of the eight i've created

so what i need to know is how to make them into a save file for action replay PAL?

thank you for putting up with me :D

they may be dead ..... but i have FIRE PRO RETURNS now ..... and the FPRSuperFeds have been born .....

Someone else created the photo. I had put it in paint set up the grid, set the margins but my main problem was the hue and all that jazz. My colors were horribly off the logo looked like a 5 year old did it.

It might be a few weeks but I could do the logo for you. I will have to resize it but the good thing is you are not dealing with a bunch of different colors like on my logo. I can email you my game save once I am done. Like I said, it might be a few weeks because of my schedule but I would be glad to do it for you.
