Least amount of change for you to buy a new fire pro

Postby lunarzombie on Sat Dec 17, 2011 2:14 pm

I think I would settle for being able to edit all 4 appearance slots for edits and defaults, and changing defaults logic. I think Fire Pro could get more of my money just for these minor changes. Of course I would like all the goodies everyone else has mentioned before, but I was just thinking of the smallest amount of changes just for the heck of it.

Anyways, I would be satisifed with maybe some more designs in Edit mode and maybe the ability to use those designs on each body part separately.

Oh and some new moves would be nice too.

LOL @ Duda's pic

This is an EXCELLENT question/topic 8)

As someone who puts a lot of time and effort into my edits, I hate having to constantly re-do them from version to version. Every time a new Fire Pro is announced, I always have a tinge of annoyance in having to port the edits over. So if there was a way to automatically transfer over old/existing edits to a new game (omitting any parts if there's an upgrade in the edit mode), then that's part 1 of the bare minimum I would accept.

Part 2 would actually be something that would be new for the game: (otherwise why need to transfer edits at all! )If these features were in a new game, I'd definitely buy it even if nothing else was added:

a) 8-10 sequence/priority logic slots
b) 1000+ edit slots per pack
c) IRON MAN MATCH (with submission modifier)

That's all I'd need to guarantee a purchase 8)

One more layer for leg and waist parts. There have been way too many instances where something could be perfect if I only had one more damn layer.

Also a change in which way the opponent faces after the Samoan drop so it doesn't look pants on head dumb.

That's all I need. Other stuff would be great, but I'd drop another $40 and never leave my office again and have the most bitchin' sims imaginable.

Agreed. Knee pads 1, shoes 1, lace 1 - still see leg skin

And for different body parts, no less

It would be good if we had more choices for facial hair for layers and not just kinda forced to use the heads with the best beards/mouth stashes.

Also nose/ear hair, long as the eye can see...

How much do I hate this?! I'm sporting a Bruiser Brody-esque beard at the moment and struggled to get the head to look right (hair and face aren't right on Brody before anyone suggests it either )

Adding a beard to my preferred face looked silly too because it overlapped the mouth. So I had to settle for a head I wasn't 100% happy with.

Seriously Spike, ONE BEARD!? What were they thinking?

Kneepads 2 mostly solves that one. Or using leather instead of shoes 1 if it's all black.

Can still see a slither on knee pads 2 :(

I use the workaround with leather, perfect for my black edits but I have to resort to shorts for the coloured edits.

Ah, I didn't see the LEAST part. In that case, I'll go with having each arm and leg on an edit with separate layers.

Unlockables, achievements or some kind of goal. That's the main reason I play Final over Returns.

I joked about just needing "a new box" to get me to shell out some money for another fire pro, but Tiger brings up a good point.
I have found myself fudging a kings road mode by picking a fed, dividing the number of wresters in the fed by 10 to asighn each wrestler a dificulty level, then working my way through the fed bottom to top, just to have a goal.
I never knew how much I liked kings road on FPD untill I got FPR and missed it.

As for Final .. I really need to aply that english patch and dive in.. If I'm thinking of the right game.

It's just having something to achieve, getting an unlockable or a star next to something. I think it's the learnt behaviour in British schools. I don't want Management of Ring on a 360 or PS3 version, just kings road or something similar. I also thought that Edit managing mode in FPG was awesome, difficult but I had to keep pushing to finish it.

BTW the link to the Final Fire Pro patch is in my sig :P [/Cheap Plug]

I don't even need a new box. I'd buy it if it was released on PSN.

I'd LIKE more edit slots, 4 costumes for edits, and fully editable (4 costumes, moves, logic) for the defaults. That would be huge for me. That way, instead of wasting edit slots on a fixed/updated version of a default, I could use the, let's say 1000+ edit slots of other dudes and be able to have all the wrestlers I want on one file. Ideally, I'd like to see it be a limitless amount of slots based soley on how much of my harddrive I'm willing to devote to Fire Pro. (A fucking lot, that's how much.)

A more updated roster with new moves/faces/edit parts would be nice too. More layers would be sweet. A direct download page for edits, logos, rings, & refs like the WWE games have would be fantastic.

More shit for MMA guys & strikers would be sweet. Extra priorities would be good, and more importantly imo, more ways to do priorties. I want to be able to link a full 5 moves of doom for instance.

Despite duda hating on it, a 6 sided ring would be good. Especially if it (along with the MMA octagon) could have custom logos.

But, honestly all it would take to get me to buy a new FP game is a new FP game.

If it has A decent amount of edits that can be saved and I could download them off the internet and it contained Computer Logic that might be enough for me to really think about it.

You know what is said we have so much information about what we want yet no one that is making this game gives a shit.
