This will be good for those non French speaking Canadians... and pirates.

But you know, I've had to answer a lot of questions from people that have read through the manual. I, personally, don't own the game yet... so reading this download will help me determine if these kids can't read, or if the manual really is as confusing as they say it is.

Thanks for the linkage, Mizark. :D

Ok yeah... I just skimmed the manual and looked for quick answers to the most commonly asked questions.

They're right there in the f'n manual.

I KNEW IT.
I gave the noobs the benefit of the doubt, but I was too generous.

RTFM will be my new response for many questions from this point forward. If they complain about not having an English version... I now have this link. Thank you, Mark.

For a few days I was giving the page # in the manual as part of my answers.

Let's just say that doesn't always help.

Cheers for that, it's nice to be able to have a read whilst I wait for it to some out over here.

And yeah I agree with SonnyBone, some people haven't read through manual properly before they've asked stuff on here

I really think the whole critical/finisher thing should be more confusing to us veterans because while it uses weird terminology it's not explained that bad in the manual.

Anything I couldn't find in the manual, I found in Bill Wood's guides...so it hasn't been a big deal for me.

The manual IMHO is decent. Any questions or problems I had, I simply read the manual. The ONLY this they omitted from what I could tell was how to leap from the cage. I had been pressing every button but forgot that not every guy can fly off the cage. Misawa you coward!!

As a Canadian who received the French manual, let me say thank you. While I can read French, it's nice to have an English reference.

Why do some receive only a French manual anyway?

Costs (guess) twice as much to include english and french I would imagine...

Why didn't I get a french manual? I took french for 3 years in high school...I remember a couple things...

the manual forgets to tell people how to pick up weapons...

to pick up weapons hit down + triangle at the same time while standing over the handle of a weapon.

I give you guys credit, Mark. That manual is deep. Better than the "Kick, Punch, It's All In The Mind" path that most companies take with their manuals.

Nice manual, but the "Overall" attribute isn't accurately explained; it doesn't represent overall strength, it's an MMA skill setting.

how do you leap from the cage? I was trying to figure that out a bit ago during my 1st cage match... maybe my guy was just a coward too though cause I hit like every button hahaha

As stated above, not everyone has a dive from the cage move. It has to be set in their move set. IIRC it is the Circle button.

They pretty much have to explain as much as possible in the manual because there's no in game tutorial or anything.

Thanks for posting! Though I understand French, my wrestling/Fire Pro knowledge gets lost in translation when reading the French manual.

That didn't keep me from playing... :)

Great. I was pissed off to open my game that finally arrived from Amazon.ca yesterday only to find that it came with a French manual. I figured this was a mistake, but after poking around here for a few seconds, it seems that the issue is Canada-wide. So this guide will help, although it still sucks that I don't have a real English booklet. Oh well, it'll do. Thanks for the link.

I wonder if there's any chance that if you're a canadian customer who got a french manual you can order a manual in english from agetec. I would imagine it wouldn't cost much but if you really want to have the actual manual, maybe they could work something out with you guys.
