His spoiler on Move Sets is really specific. In my experience, 16-bit v. non 16-bit can be different depending on logic settings of your personal edits or downloaded edits. C.H.'s pack is visually very interesting alone but I like that he has a good logic base so that his edits put on some really good, close matches. Also, his style of setting paramaters really seems to help establish the top guys of the eras he profiles from the mid-card guys. It's easy to see once you do a tournament or league.

C.H., Koko's eye-melting High Energy pants is making my Christmas brighter than my neighbor's Christmas-meets-amusement-park display across the street from me. Keep it up!

@snowth: Bam Bam is correct, I'm not sure how they would play with other edits, but my goal was to try and create a game within the existing engine. The movesets are based on different templets (power, tech, ect.) and expanded with personalized taunts, up to 3 special moves, and a finisher. He covered it very well :)

@ Bam Bam: Hahah I'm happy High Energy can bring someone, anyone some joy. You should be able to be hands on with them late tonight or tomorrow!!

Seriously that 16 bit edit style is one of the coolest things on this board.

No exaggeration.

Shows what Fire Pro and this community can do 8)

 thank you for the compliments guys!! Goose was always good at making me blush  That is something I love about the fire pro game is how deep it is, and what a great outlet for creativity it is. This community has done some amazing things and I've met some great people on this board.

I'm finishing things up and the pack should go up before the end of the day.

These pics will be on the front page when the pack goes live but I thought I would throw a few up as a preiview:

It's funny just how much better some edits look in 16 bit. The Juicer and Bunkhouse Buck in particular. No matter how hard you could try to get them to look like real life edits they are just so much more badass in 16.

Haha I know what you are saying. I think it's easier when there is less detail involved and you can get away with brighter colors too. I made some really B level edits on this one but the colors really pop

Also, we are now LIVE!! The Pack is up!! Enjoy!

Re: C.H. Presents 16-Bit Mania!! Expansion Pack! Available

Postby BamBam1981 on Sun Dec 26, 2010 6:33 pm

After working the overnight shifts on Christmas eve AND day (12 hours each), I was scheduled to be in tonight from 8p-8a tomorrow morning. Just got a call that said "It's snowing too hard and we have someone who doesn't want to drive home in this. Stay home tonight." Just hopped on FPC and...<gasp!>...
C.H., tonight I have my first snow day since grade school AND the extension pack (I'm the 1st one to download it!)? Thanks for making this the best post-Christmas present ever! All I can give you in return is the promise that I'll now stop posting on this board almost as much as you do.
Thanks again!

You know that scene in Office Space where they install the program into the computer and do a slow motion on the finger pressing the button?

That's how I pressed the download button for this pack

Love the double nostalgia of the SNOW DAY + 16 bit style pack

I feel like an awkward teen again

Can't wait to check the pack out. Really a phenomenal job, Captain 8)

@bambam & Goose: I love the timing of the Snow Day!!! Now all your dreams can come true with The Gambler facing Johnny Gunn lololol. I hope you enjoy the pack, it's hard to hype it since so many edits on there are lower level so there are not many marquee names, but they fill out the other 16-Bit pack very nicely. I ended up splitting them up, 2 feds on a card, and going crazy with that.

I think this takes care of my 16-Bit craze, but I may clean up my other non-mania edit pack, and maybe split that up, I have wrestlers, arcade, boxers, all kinds of stuff on one card and I may break that up.

Did you construct the save on a PS2 or PS3? See, if I still had a PS2, I could've converted it myself.....

EDIT: Nevermind....Where is Faceless?
