I never use the in-game text tool. I think that after you type whatever you want, you need to go to the Tool Edit section a nd select the square with the diagonal red line to unselect the text area. I have't tried this, so I can't be 100% sure.

i figured it out. i think the most important thing is that you make sure that you select your color in the second square, since the 1st one is transparent. once you select the color that you wish, everything else at least with using the text tool is easy...
and like wwekiller i now have 4 logo acronyms also!!!

My first logo says "NWA"!

On many occasions, I've had to shut my game off because I couldn't figure out how to get out of the logo maker. Now, thanks to this, big things are a brewing for me at logo making.

If you want to make your logo a bit nicer, you can make a few shades of the same color, and make a color gradient so it fades a bit from light to dark. You just draw the colors right on top of the text pixels, and change colors every x rows.

Then, you can trace the contour of your text in the color that is the mid point between the color of your text, and the color you want your mat to be, and have it blend in a bit more smoothly.

so basically you take a lighter color and put it into the text that already has it's own color. and the final product will give it a different shade of color a bit?

Not what I said at all. Take a series of different shades, and draw over the text with them. Going from one shade to the next. You get a nice color fade that way, instead of one flat shade.

For instance, you might have the Initials FPC fade from dark blue at the bottom, to lighter blue at the top. You would change shades every row of pixels to a lighter one.

If you have photoshop that's a great way to get the different shades to use.

Is the logo pixel-y or antialiased? That can be your problem.

First time poster here... So I am not having too may problems with the logo editor, except for one thing. Whenever I try to use white in my logo, it ends up showing up as transparent once the logo is placed onto the ring. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can delete the layer you made the logo on. I don't know if the logo itself can be deleted. Go to the layers section of the editor and move to the garbage bin and press X. It will ask you what layer you want to delete. Click on the layer you made the logo on.

Here is something that I’ve been playing with since learning how to do logos.

Instead of making a logo, I made a ladder and some blood stains on the mat for some hardcore action. I haven’t quite got the shadow on the ladder just right yet, but it is starting to look like a ladder, is in the ring.

It does look kind of odd seeing them walk over it, but, I do mark out when a powerbomb or suplex is done from the top of the ladder.

There is only one text font that I know of. You could make the logo but it will look nothing like the ROH logo.

If it looks like the pic in your avatar then the problem is you aren't using enough colors. Dhalsimrocks posted a guide that I personally swear by. If you are using a picture of a logo and some form of gfx program to get the colors (photoshop, paint, etc.) then set it for more colors. It's much more work and time-consuming, but consider that against all the hours you'll spend looking at it while playing/simming....

I'm having the same problem with everything looking real jaggy. What are pixel-y and antialiased, which should I use and how do I select them?
