Nope, it's almost there, though. I've decided to run a logic fix on the bulk of the roster, that's what's taking so long.

I remember once that I was telling some friends that I wanted to test my edit making abilities, and make some edits that were way out there for once, and while pondering my target, saw several edits made of some bands. A strange thought popped up in my head at that point, and here's the fruit of that inspiration:

Credit to theChon for capping the pics that I used for this, the full save will be released as soon as I type up the roster, could be as soon as tomorrow!

The save is finally posted!! Do enjoy, this is quite the improvement over the last installment, but as always, let me know if there's any fighters who you'd like to see included:)

It's probably been covered, but why are you still using pins for the fighters dude?

Mainly, it's because I sim LOTS of elimination tags and battle royales with them, I like my edits to be versatile. I look at MMA pin attempts as failed side control scrambles, more or less, and since FPR pretty much forces one to use a good deal of imagination, it works in my book. I actually think that helps pace the fights well, but if you want to remove pins, I found an old topic where I discussed that:

Also, since some people might have concerns that my MMAers have a few pro wrestling traits, I've got a quick fix to fully convert them over to MMA style.

1) Replace all pins with mounts or stomps, depending on your preference, in any case, neither move would be seen often, as my pin logic is really low.

2) Replace all scoop slams with knee lifts or an unused weak punch, or a judo throw, although for Josh Barnett, I'd not be surprised if he'd actually attempt a wrestling style scoop slam in a MMA fight.(current day edit: it's probably not a bad move for some amateur guys to simulate a high angle takedown)

3) Move all Irish Whip logic(which shouldn't ever be high in the first place, (I mainly use it so fighters throw opponents in the corner and space things out in battle royales) down to the R1 facelock drag.

What about their personality traits? Like entertainment, shouldn't it be more low than high?

That's how Spike sets it up, but I think that a case by case basis is more effective for edits. Look at the difference between Lyoto Machida and Wanderlei Silva. The former is a very technical fighter who will carefully set up his attacks while the latter will come out of the gates swinging, and not stop until it's over one way or another. While this is a generalization, when making edits, you deal in those, and it behooves Wand to have a higher entertainment % than most others, just as a more careful fighter like Machida would have a lower one.

Just my two cents on the issue, although really, I was just discussing the use of pins for MMA fighters, rather than the holistic approach in MMA edit creation. I've actually toned down my MMA fighters a bit since I made this pack, separating them from my standard wrestler edits, taking out some of the crazier moves I had assigned to them(Rampage's triple powerbomb, for one), and looking to have them strike a good balance between being able to put on realistic MMA fights and still being compatable with battle royale and tag team situations.

Faceless is not doing PS3 conversions anymore, his PS2 is in storage. Is there anyone out there who can do the conversion of this one?

Great save and thanks for making Fuji :). I know it's a decent size list, but you're a great Firepro creator so I'd appreciate any of them. Here's the list anyway:

I'll be more than glad to make a number of those people, most of them were already on my mandatory make list for the next go around. Bantamweights will be a new challenge, but one I'm sure I'll be up for:)

Just wanted to say that I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth(entirely), and that after a hiatus, I'm back to working on my edit packs.

For this one, I've done initial work on King Mo(who's insanely fun to use right now), Herschal Walker, Jacare, Nate Marquardt, and Mark Kerr, with many more to come, and perhaps even a few long awaited additions to the Heroes of History.

Just wanted to state that even though I don't like MMA, I really like your pack. With how I do things, it's a big advantage of me that you make your fighters able to compete in pro wrestling matches, with them having pins and a few wrestling traits. It's fun to be able to throw MMA guys in a wrestling ring and have them compete in wrestling matches. It's also cool to be able to match them up against all your wrestling edits. Looking forward to the next version of this pack, in addition to all the updates to your other packs.

I'd love to see this converted to PS3. Hey Sen, I've found the S-1 Rules pretty lackluster when it came to simming K-1 fights. Seeing as you have a nice list of K-1 stars, what do you do/recommend? Also, what would you advise regarding referee settings/difficulty setting/critical rate?
