I know Gritsboy owns the game.

You would have to ask him about your question though.

he went to pay for a Tales of Pirates online points card and he was 1 dollar short so they took all his money and left his bank account in -$40. so they took out his $39 and then charged him an extra $39, he paid double and didn't get his Tales of Pirates card, plus it also took months even when it did work right.

I'm glad to hear that he had his priorities straight with his last $39.

That would probably be the bank charging an overdraft fee, not paypal.

lol

If it's too complicated then just go without it. Sorry it can't be super easy for everyone to play firepro...

...fucking new people just have NO clue how this process was 10 years ago. When FPG, THE REAL GAME, came out you know what a clusterfuck it was? Everyone had preordered at therage but therage didn't get their copies. Days went by and people waited for therage to take their 90 dollars and send them FPG.

Meanwhile I called buyrite and had it shipped overnight. Arrived exactly when I expected it (3 days later) and I was still playing it before most people...

I'm going to get it this summer after I get my credit card. Its not complicated for me to get right now so I was hoping someone wanted to share. In fact I am willing to buy a something up to $20 in value on the store to trade for it.

Yes, because he bought something online and paid for it..... using PayPal. Wow. Imagine that. He bought a good, PayPal paid for it, then billed his account (checking, I assume) to get their money back. It's not PayPal's responsibility to check first to make sure he had enough money in the account to cover the purchase. Most likely, since he spent $40 and only had $39 in his account, his account dropped below zero and the bank tacked on an overdraft fee. Not PayPal's fault at all. If you buy something with PayPal, they're going to take the amount from your account. Simple as that.

They could have at least sent him his product.

You are aware that paypal has nothing to do with shipping, right? Paypal is essentially a credit card. It's the person he paid that was responsible for shipping the item.

Still he should have got what he paid for. Instead he paid $80 and got nothing. He since canceled paypal because they use to take $20 out of his account every month.
