If you have the updated game you should use the new save as I have changed a few things to make CMLL work but you could also use your old save if you want to make the changes.

If you are using the old save just go into the rename and change M-Pro to CMLL. You will also need to change the old CMLL/RINGS into something. I named it LEGEND because I moved the old CMLL/RINGS belts to the Legends (Stone Cold and the Rock).

You might also want to move the CMLL guys into the new CMLL group (old M-pro group) and move the old M-ro guys into the Free section.

confused yet?

I thought that might be the case.

There is a lot of other stuff that I love in MOR and I think it has been TigerMask'd.

I really miss the old advice that you had in one of the past patches though

Soon as 1/5 of the TigerMask FFPW Translation fan base has requested it, I will re-work my advice section. To be honest, anything else I change will be fixing typo's now, I can't really change any other images without corrupting the game.

ADVICE: Back up every patch, translation or save you create! It will save you some work.

Ok the advice will be better than that :P

I'm also really enjoying the latest update. Cactus deserves some kind of Fire Pro award!

All the credit should go to you and JB.

but I have to agree with your advice about backing everything up. My FFPW 2010 progess folder saved my ass many times when I screwed something up in the hex.

I can't speak for Tiger but I hit a road block with my logo work. I did manage to get a ROH logo into the game but it was a little off center and the colors were too flat.

I feel like the failure was totally my fault as it shouldn't be too hard to get them in there. Tiger did mention that he figured out custom colors, which would help.

JB and Davey have already proven that you can add custom rings, logos, and edit parts. I just couldn't justify the time investment it would take for me to figure it out.

We know the logos can work. Someone just needs to take the time to get it done. I just would rather work on different parts of the game but I'm sure it will be done at some point (Tiger is good at getting stuff done).

My current plan for the game is to finish updating the Japanese promotions. I have already finished about a half dozen NOAH guys but I have also been spending most of my Fire Pro time just playing.

There are a few more indy guys I would like to add but I have to keep in mind the available roster spots. I think there are just enough spots left to update the Japanese guys and add a few more Lucha dudes. Some of the less popular indy guys would fit better in the save.

Any help with this stuff would be very welcomed.

also

I kinda want to start a Monday Night Wars game hack :o

My explanations for editing aren't great, I'll create a guide to edit colours. I did retry the logo replacement stuff too but didn't get any further than a couple of replacements.

I'm FOREVER botching things in the various different patches, so backing up has been a big help.

When did this happen?

I dunno, somewhere between 5-7 years ago...

SUPER-REALISTIC SHOOTING STAR PRESS~!™ (Oh yeah, and a custom ring, too...)

In my old hack, I had the NJPW and AJPW group logos in (not to mention the Decepticon background...)

Why do people have to make me realize how long I've been doing this FFP shit without actually releasing anything for it...?

lol

that is awesome

I'm more than 7 years behind JB when it comes to fp hacking. Everyone should expect logos from me sometinme in 2018...

any tips on the logos?

I messed with it a bit last year but I could never get it right. If I remember correctly I opened a image in a paint program and tried to then save it as a bitmap or something. Size and color were always an issue when I tried to import them into the game.

Loving the new update Cactus.

I do have some suggestions, but I can understand if you don't want to go with them. I feel like you've done too good with the TNA and WWE guys, and have neglected a lot of the indies because of it. Do we really need all the NXT guys? You could make a CHIKARA, DG USA, or EVOLVE by eliminating a lot of the guys employed by WWE. Part of this is just opinion, since I can't stand anything WWE these days, but I feel like guys like Delirious, Jimmy Jacobs, Kenney Omega, Eddie Kingston, and many others deserve a spot in the game over a lot of the guys bloating up the WWE rosters.

I suppose I could be happy with switching out Goldust with Jimmy Jacobs.

Other than that, I'm really enjoying this hack. Every time someone gets food poisoning from the "Claudio" lunchbox I feel like I'm playing the best wrestling game ever made, hehe.

Wah! Those logos look awesome. WIll you accept money or something to release them? Or just a big fat guide?

The best I can do is a very pixelated logo for RINGS. Like anyone cares who RINGS are :(

Those are good ideas.

The current RAW and Smackdown rosters will most likely stay at that size but I may switch some guys in or out depending on what is going on.

I need those two promotions to have big rosters so they can really dominate.

There are a few really low jobbers who I think will be moved to the save. At this point, Shad and Primo are most likely going to move to the save. I'm not sure who else can move but I think 2-3 others would be good.

I think adding maybe 8 or so new indy guys to the free section could be an option as well. I actually like the indy guys a bit more than the WWE as well but I have to look at as a complete game.

It would be strange to have a giant indy roster at the expense of the WWE. At least TNA and the WWE have a good number of indy dudes. If I really think about it, the ROH roster is a bit too big. You have to remember that RAW has 23 (I think) wrestlers on the roster. ROH should probably only have 8 or so.

The TNA roster is way too big but I wanted the experience to be close to real life (if that is even possible).

TNA is a bloated company that is not currently very popular. You almost have to make some serious cuts in the first few months.

I think the easiest way to add indy guys is placing them on the save. When you start a MOR game you can just add them to the Free sections. They will have low popularity but that is accurate for an indy guy.

The nice thing about the save is that anyone can add whoever they like. You could even use one of your own FFPW saves (I think) but you will have to change some of the names and move guys around.

Keep the feedback coming

It helps

Also

let me know if anyone runs into a wrestler that may be too powerful (wins every match). I did my best to balence the game but some guys may be a little too tough.

So far I have noticed the following:

Abyss (may just need to be lowered a tiny bit)
Doug Williams (way too strong)
Alex Shelley (I think I need to lower the % for his German)

Desmond Wolfe is strange one. The guy wins all the time if you skip his MOR match but he's about average if you sim. Why the hell is this?
