Burning Fire Pro G to a CD

Postby rkohater on Mon Nov 22, 2010 2:03 pm

Okay, I've had a copy of Fire Pro G for a few years now. I've actually forgotten I owned it, Its still sealed because I knew I obviously couldn't play it I just wanted it for a collector's item. I am wondering If I make a copy and burn it to a cd would it work in my PS1 with the swap trick? Swap Trick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5PeuvcoRR0

1. Your best bet is to first dip your PS1/PS2 into a large bowl of Apple Cider Vinegar. (It's not as dexterous as water, so the electronics will be fine)

2. Pull it out and let it dry.

3. Then microwave it on high for exactly 46 seconds.
The alkalinity of the vinegar will reset the systems "instant memory".

By doing this you remove any regional settings within the system.

Now that you have a "region Free" Playstation, you can play burned/import games without using the swap trick.

8)
Do not use on cats. Also, I didn't see Mike Awesome in the list!

The correct answer is: Fuck off, little kid.

Seriously, google.com (an internet search engine) has a bar to which you type in letters to form words and phrases. After typing in the desired subject, press enter on your keyboard. This will bring up a list of relevant sites pertaining to the information you requested.

I've tried Google, some sites say it will work and some sites don't. I'd figure a site called "FirePro"club would be able to help me burn a "Fire Pro" game correctly. You are only 7 years older than me, so If I am a little kid that must mean you are a pubescent. In Canada at least, 18 is considered Adult and we have the right to vote. I am two years older than the legal driving age and I am less than 3 months away from being the legal drinking age. What you mean to say is that I am childish, I admit I am but some of your responses are really childish and stupid. Seriously someone your age should be more mature than that.

One day, when you're finished crying. Take some initiative and learn how to use this "search engine" phenomenon. It will help you in your lonely quest of being TOPTROLL.

You are trying WAYYY too hard to "fit in", when there is nothing to "fit into".

When you post, it's obvious that there is little to no thought process involved. Every "funny/odd/intuitive" thing that comes to your mind should at least be pondered for a second before throwing it into the foray. Think about the stuff you are posting. If you're going to try and impress someone, make sure your material is not only impressive, but above all else, TRUE!

Also, I can act goofy without threatening my integrity or over-stepping social boundaries. Being able to CONTROL your actions and words is an important part of being a man. Be respectful, as well as respectABLE.

ps, you don't have to quote every single entry that is posted chronologically before yours. The context and position of your post is usually indicative of a response to a previous post. You know when you are being spoken to.

As for burning a cd, while it's not illegal to make an archival back-up of something, there is no way for anyone here to know that you actually own the game. Therefore it can only be assumed that you are trying to pirate it. And that's why no-one has helped you.

Okay I was not trying to be funny in this thread. You clearly started it with that vinegar crap, couldn't you have just told me this instead of all that? I do own the game, I bought off of ebay years ago and never opened it. I've already tried methods on I found on Google and I have wasted countless CDs, thats why I asked here. I obviously know how to use Google. Google is where I first found Fire Pro Club.

I already opened my copy. Thats what I'm using to make back ups. My PS1, PS2, PS3 can't play it because its Japanese. I've tried the swap trick multiple times and have never gotten it to work.

Any method that will boot an import disc will also boot a cd-r. period. Results will vary depending upon how shitty your brand of cd-r is but it boots the same way as a real import, by bypassing the security checks.

If you have a ps3 you can just download it from the japanese or korean PSN store for 6,000 yen and forget the whole disc entirely...
