El Increible Comentarista: Great teamwork is a characteristic of Rudos. I believe you owe me a beer ja ja.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: I accept defeat. Let’s go back to USA for more wrestling.

Image

Ron Glenn: We’re back folks and we are ready for more wrestling. Are you still with us Erik?

Erik Andrews: Of course I am. I could never leave you to do the show by yourself. I want SLAM Pro Wrestling to be successful. I have to be here.

Ron Glenn: Thanks for being so considerate Erik. Let’s go down to the ring.

Image

Taylor Edwards: This match is scheduled to one fall with a 45 minute time limit. Introducing first, coming in through the West entrance and weighing in at 189 lbs and 187 lbs respectively, Dragon and Mark Rocker.

Image

Ron Glenn: Dragon and Mark Rocker are two of the most exciting wrestlers in the world. Both have great skills and knowledge of the ring. These two are ready for anybody.

Erik Andrews: But wait until you see who they will be facing. This will not be an easy match.

Image

Taylor Edwards: And their opponents, coming in through the East entrance and weighing in at 280 lbs and 217 lbs respectively, Wild Juggernaut and Super Tokyo.

Image

Erik Andrews: Wild Juggernaut is the original Heavy Metal warrior. And Super Tokyo is one of the greats from Japan. Dragon and Mark Rocker have zero chance in this match.

Ron Glenn: There is only one way to know. Doug Harris will be the referee for this match. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Ron Glenn: That was an excellent match. We saw three Rocker Cutters but Wild Juggernaut was aware that he had to make the save. But in the end, great win by Dragon and Mark Rocker.

Erik Andrews: Meh. Whatever. They’ll get them next time. Let’s go back to Mexico because the next match is about to begin.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Bienvenidos otra vez. Welcome back lucha fans. Our next match is about to begin. What’s in store for the next match?

El Increible Comentarista: Nothing more than another Rudo win. You know Tecnicos can’t beat Rudos. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Super Anuncio: Lucharaaaaaan to one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first, coming in through the Tecnicos entrance and weighing in at 184 lbs: Aguila de Oro.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Aguila de Oro is an expert Tecnico. He has a lot of experience and will take care of any Rudo he faces.

El Increible Comentarista: That is not enough to beat any Rudo. Just wait until the say who is coming to take on Aguila de Oro.

Image

Super Anuncio: And his opponent, coming in through the Rudos entrance and weighing in at 189 lbs: El Fabuloso.

Image

El Increible Comentarista: Aguila de Oro is doomed. Esta perdido. El Fabuloso will handle him like a little girl. Do you know why he’s called el Fabuloso? Because he is fabuloso. Just wait and see.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: I feel very confident that Aguila de Oro will win. How about we bet on it. I bet you some delicious nachos.

El Increible Comentarista: Dale pues. OK. I will gain weight eating all the food you will owe me. Let’s go to the match.

El Increible Comentarista: Ja ja ja, now I get some nachos. Rudos are winning everything tonight and Tecnicos can’t do anything about it. What do you have to say?

El Comentarista Enmascarado: I can’t believe the Tecnicos lost again. The Rudos must be cheating to win. This is incredible.

El Increible Comentarista: I am incredible. I am El Increible Comentarista. And the Rudos will always win over the Tecnicos because the Rudos do whatever is necessary to win. The Tecnicos always want to be the good guys, but good guys never win in lucha.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Ya callate. Shut up. Let’s go back to the USA for the next match.

Image

Ron Glenn: Welcome back folks, it’s time again for some Dreamgirls action. We have two greats taking on each other. Let’s go to the ring for the announcement.

Erik Andrews: Is Boss Butch coming?

Ron Glenn: No. Shut up.

Image

Taylor Edwards: This match is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first, coming in through the West entrance and weighing in at 120 lbs: Karla Rocker.

Image

Ron Glenn: Some of you may know her as Makar’s Wife, Karla Rocker is one tough lady. She is Mark Rocker’s wife. Did you know that?

Erik Andrews: She wouldn’t stand a chance against Boss Butch.

Ron Glenn: Boss Butch already lost tonight.

Erik Andrews: Let’s hear the next announcement.

Image

Taylor Edwards: And her opponent, coming in through the East entrance and weighing in at 121 lbs: Sparx.

Image

Erik Andrews: Sparx is not Boss Butch, but she is a very good wrestler too.

Ron Glenn: That’s right, she is good. This should be a good match. Fabio is ready. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Ron Glenn: And Karla Rocker takes the win. That was a clever way to win the match.

Erik Andrews: She couldn’t do that to Boss Butch.

Ron Glenn: What is your fixation with Boss Butch?

Erik Andrews: I love her.

Ron Glenn: Oh please. Let’s go to Mexico for the next match.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: And we are ready for our next match and hopefully a Tecnico is going to be able to beat a Rudo tonight.

El Increible Comentarista: I seriously doubt it. Rudos are always going to win. It’s their nature. They don’t pose for the fans or want to hear cheers. They are here for the win. So, how about another bet?

El Comentarista: I’m pretty sure that a Tecnico will win this match so I’ll bet you a bottle of tequila.

El Increible Comentarista: I’m getting drunk tonight. Be ready to pay. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Super Anuncio: Lucharan a one fall with a 45 minute time limit. Introducing first, comin in through the Tecnico entrance and weighing in at 185 lbs and 189 lbs respectively: Furia Azteca and El Tigre Jr.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Eso, Furia Azteca is fast and the son of El Tigre, EL Tigre Jr is his partner. Rudos don’t stand a chance.

El Increible Comentarista: Ya veremos. We’ll see.

Image

Super Anuncio: And their opponents, coming in through the Rudos entrance and weighing in at 184 lbs and 188 lbs respectively: Demencia and Xicodelico.

Image

El Increible Comentarista: Demencia and Xicodelico are two of the top Rudos in the world. Their skill is so impressive that ladies just fall in love with them. And they get all the ladies.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: I’m sure they do. But tonight they don’t stand a chance against the son of a legend and his partner. Let’s go to the ring for the match.

Image

El Increible Comentarista: You owe me a bottle of tequila. I told you already. Rudos are too much to handle for Tecnicos.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: It’s just luck.

El Increible Comentarista: Not luck. Talent. Tecnicos have no talent.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Let’s go back to USA for the next match.

Image

Ron Glenn: Welcome back folks. The action so far has been great. This has been a great first show.

Erik Andrews: You are completely right, Ron. And we are ready for some more. Let’s go down to the ring for the next match.

Image

Taylor Edwards: The following match is scheduled to one fall with a 45 minute time limit. Introducing first, coming in through the West entrance, weighing in at 251 lbs and 188 lbs respectively: Wade and Lance Wright.

Image

Ron Glenn: Making their way to the ring is the father and son team of Wade and Lance Wright. If I had to pick one team to become the SLAM Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, it’s them.

Image

Taylor Edwards: And their opponents, coming in through the East entrance and weighing in at 289 lbs and 250 lbs respectively: Chaos and Logan.

Image

Erik Andrews: Chaos and Logan are two of the meanest guys I have ever seen. They just don’t care about anybody else and they will destroy whoever is on the opposite corner.

Ron Glenn: This should be one great match. Let’s go down to the ring.

Image

Ron Glenn: That was an impressive win by Wade and Lance Wright. Those two have a bright future in SLAM Pro Wrestling. I’m telling you, the others better watch out. These two are on their way to greatness.

Erik Andrews: Tonight they got a lucky break. I doubt they would defeat Chaos and Logan again. But now let’s go back to Mexico for the final match of the night.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: We are here for the final match of the night and the Premiere of SLAM Pro Wrestling and SLAM Lucha Libre.

El Increible Comentarista: And after this match, the Rudos will have defeated every Tecnico in the show. Rudos will rule forever. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Super Anuncio: Lucharaaaaaan to one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Introducing first, entering through the Tecnicos entrance and weighing in at 187 lbs: Astro Solitario.

Image

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Astro Solitario is one of the best Tecnicos I have seen in the ring. There is no way he will lose.

Image

Super Anuncio: And his opponent, coming in through the Rudos entrance, weighing in at 220 lbs: Ultra Max.

Image

El Increible Comentarista: Ultra Max is about to put the final nail in the Tecnico coffin. After tonight, Rudos will be known as the ones who destroyed a los Tecnicos.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: You sound very confident. How about double or nothing?

El Increible Comentarista: You want to owe me the double of what you do right now? Fine by me. Let’s go to the ring so this is over soon and I get my winnings.

El Increible Enmascarado: Noooooooooooo. That was cheating.

El Comentarista Enmascarado: Tecnicos never cheat. That was pure talent. And now you owe me 4 tacos de carnitas, 2 beers, 2 nachos and 2 bottles of tequila.

El Increible Comentarista: I will get you for this.

El Comentarista Enmascaradao: Amigos, it’s been great having you here in beautiful Mexico. Now let’s go back to USA for the end of the show.

Image

Ron Glenn: Folks, it’s been a great show and we loved having you here. Wait…Folks, there appears to be one final match.

Erik Andrews: What? Who?

Ron Glenn: It appears that Giant Panther will have a match tonight.

Erik Andrews: And who is he facing?

Ron Glenn: Yes, there is one more match tonight. Giant Panther will be taking on El Tigre.

Erik Andrews: Wow. I never thought I would see this match tonight. Two wrestling legends taking on each other right here, tonight.

Ron Glenn: I can’t wait. Let’s go to the ring.

Image

Taylor Edwards: This match is scheduled to one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first, coming in through the West entrance, weighing in at 240 lbs, El Tigre.

Image

Ron Glenn: I never thought I would be in the same arena as El Tigre. This guy is just amazing. He is the true representation of the Mexican Tecnico.

Erik Andrews: You are absolutely right. He is a lucha legend. But let’s hear the announcement for Giant Panther.

Image

Taylor Edwards: And his opponent, coming in through the East entrance, weighing in at 319 lbs, Giant Panther.

Image

Ron Glenn: What can we say about Giant Panther? The man is a legend too. As you know, he was away from the ring for a few years due to an injury he sustained when he was attacked by King Slender.

Erik Andrews: And he still holds that grudge. I would love to see those two in the ring at some point.

Ron Glenn: Yes, that would be a great match to watch. But let’s get this one under way.

I loved how the Lucha side turned out. Quite satisfying in the end! All in all, everything was great. I loved the conversations for both sets of commentators. Erik Andrew's love for Boss Butch is hilarious, and the way the Lucha commentators feed off on each other is muy bien.

I too hope everything's been better for you and your family.

Re: SLAM - Quest for the Belts tournaments announcement

Postby makar17 on Tue May 10, 2011 7:05 pm

SLAM Pro Wrestling and SLAM Lucha Libre are glad to announce Quest for the Belts tournaments. Starting this week, we will be holding tournaments for every single title in SLAM. Qualifying matches will take place the weeks prior to the June 24 SLAM TV. All finals will take place on the June 24 SLAM TV.

We want to give every one of our wrestlers a chance to become champions, and that is why we are putting all of them in qualifying matches and it will be up to each and every one of them to win the belts. We believe that champions are not decided by whoever is the more popular, but by who is the most talented. Stay tuned for the qualifying matches.

QUEST FOR THE BELTS Update

The Tag Team Quest for the Belts has started in SLAM Pro Wrestling and SLAM Lucha Libre. Since there are only 3 full time tag teams in SLAM Pro Wrestling and SLAM Lucha Libre, all wrestlers participated in battles to determine the rest of the teams. Here is how the SLAM Pro Wrestling part played out.
Image Image

Here are the teams. Keep in mind that Sonic Rift, Death & Destruction and Wright Generations are teams 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
Image

And this is how the tournament table looks.
Image

On the mexican side, there are no full time tag teams so everybody was scheduled for battles. In this case it was done differently. On one show, all Tecnicos participated in matches against other Tecnicos. And in another show, all Rudos faced other Rudos. The winners of each match had a 4-men battle and the losers also had a 4-men battle. The positions in which they finished determined the teams. Here is the Tecnicos side of the tourney.
Image Image

Here are the Tecnicos teams.
Image

This is how things unfolded on the Rudos side.
Image Image

Here are the Rudos teams.

This is how the tournament looks.
