VPW2 - dragging opponent on mat?

Postby substancej on Fri Sep 23, 2011 6:45 am

After 10 years I decided to buy back VPW2... excellent decision to say the least. But there's one thing I haven't adapted back to -- how do you drag a downed opponent?

I know if you hold C-Left you can drag them, but that also flips them over first. Is there a way to do this without flipping them over? The computer does it to me all the time, and I know it was possible in VPW64... odd.

That's the right button, try holding a direction first and then a split second after you begin holding the direction also hold the drag button.

Awesome! Big thanks to you. Now when I'm playing as Sakuraba I can spend half the match dragging my opponent in circles.

Awesome pick. I still play and sim MMA and shoot style shows on VPW2 a good bit. What a great game.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. This is still such an amazing game for shoot matches (among other things). It could stand more fleshing out... the lack of a kimura lock kills me. But needless to say no MMA game has even come close to matching it. The submission and knockout animations are so satisfying after all these years...
