More edit parts
Unlimited edit slots (PS2 save is 950kb-ish for 500 edits, when was the last time an XBox game had a 1mb save? Forza 3 takes up nearly 7gb on my hard drive)
More match types (mainly gimmick battle royals, elec. cage)
More weapons
Tables
Custom soundtrack
Online play and download

I'd buy it if it was the exact same game to support Fire Pro.

I think the problem is no one is making this game period.
I am happy with FPR .. but it is kind of a shame the franchise is languishing..
even in it's current form it woudl be such a great X-box live and PSN download game for wrestling fans.
I have always said thats the way to go.
FP-D.L.C baby..
(For the record if FPR came out on PSN I woudl buy a ps3.. and try to find ways to expalin it to my wife.)

I got to agree with ya helmar, if FPR was part of XBLA as is, I would probably buy it. I bought other XBLA titles that I already owned on other systems that were "remakes" that don't have the replay value that FPR does. I think FPR has all the makings to be better if they just din't restrict you in certain ways, ie. appearances (all 4 slots), matchmaker (edits), and limits on title defenses (tournament, etc.). That might be the small thing that bothers me the most about FPR, is that it seems to be all right there and they just short changed it a bit.

I'd buy any 2D Fire Pro at all, as long as it kept the same stats/attributes system, the same timing-based play mechanics, and has allows you to create new wrestlers. Just to support the game series.

I'd pay a PREMIUM (100$ +, 150$, I don't care!) for something similar to the FPHD hoax features.

Unfortunately, the video game world has changed, and there's very little place for works of love such as Fire Pro nowadays. Fire Pro R was basically done as a fix for FPZ, a proper swan song for the series...

Plus wrestling is in a rut. Outside of the WWE and TNA games, I can't remember the last wrestling game that was released on consoles. Japan doesn't even produce licensed games for their feds anymore.

We lived through the golden age of wrestling gaming, and truth be told, we should probably enjoy the WWE games more than we do, nowadays, they're pretty impressive. Yet, today, it's FPR that's playing on my old dusty PS2...I suspect most of us are really, really nostalgic about the good ol' days.

Some extra attire and head options would be enough for me to upgrade.

But if we're talking dream scenario i'd hope of some sort of image upload option and more logo slots.

Least would be several new moves alone. Mostly more normal moves, not just finisher stuff. I need some help filling out movesets.

Which is why I wish they had thought to do a downloadable feature for this one.

But more priorities in AI would be amazing, as would extra layers and costumes for edits.

Four costumes per edit and I'd totally drop like $20 on it no problem. Either that or fully editable defaults. One way or the other and I'd be psyched.

If they re-released Fire Pro R with no changes for the PS3 I'd pay $20 for it.

Improved tag-team A.I., even if that improvement is "run into your opponent when he's backing over towards his corner to tag out."

New attire layers.

More layers per part.

Choice of non-symmetry.

Small, Medium, Large, and Near Death logic for every catagory.

At least 20 Priority slots.

3,000+ new moves... better make it 4,000+.

Anything less is MOIST HORREND. Fuck you, SPIKE, I have expectations.

Too right.

I hate having to go into move list to see how edits look from the back and side.

A matchmaker mode with edits and I'd be willing to pay typical new-game money

AAA released a game that was Smackdown-esque but still better.

For me, I only want a couple of teeny changes/fixes:

-4 costumes for edits
-Ukemi fixes
-a fix that makes the breathing stats work properly

In my mind, there will never be a better game than FPR. Just those little tweaks and I would never look at another wrestling game again (not like I do now but it sounds better that way  ).
