That's cool that Waltman and THQ worked things out then... in my excitement for seeing the Great Khali, I now notice my massive disappointment in the omission of Alex Riley and Drew McIntyre (and Mason Ryan~!)

I'm sort of getting tired of them sacrificing the current roster for legends. It's much easier to find near perfect New Age Outlaws, pop in a WWF CD for the music, and put in their titantron than it is for current guys. But at least this year has a theme to it.

There is a lot of the current roster that just falls flat imo. Legends will generate more interest than Hunico.

Exactly. No offense to those who might be future stars, but having Austin, mankind, attitude taker is going to be more appealing than hunicho, or mason Ryan, or drew McIntyre. Drew probably was supposed to be bigger than he is given he was put in all stars.

But 32 slots for attitude roster has me wondering as well. I can do without road dog and billy gunn and/or Steve blackman, etc.

Give me Austin, rock, Bret, Shawn, taker and then 80s hogan, macho and warrior and that's 8 spts that are far better than the 20 plus they might have for attitude era mid carders.

All in all tho, wwe12 was a huge step and 13 looks pretty good. I just can't believe that from sd07-11 we had crappy matches with quick pins and just a real mess. Sd09 was the only one that seemed. Bit better. Thankfully, with all the talk of gameplay and this "match experience" feature, I can't think of a reason that the gameplay will fail and go backwards. I'm pretty stoked.

As someone with no online access at home, I love having legends in the game. I get that there are some good CAWS, but even if I could dl them, pre made wrestlers are always perferable.

I know, I just wouldn't leave anyone out. It's supposed to represent the current roster so everyone should be in there. I wish they could release the Monday Night Wars as an expansion pack or something.

This roster does look really good.

The caveat, though, is that it won't mean much if there's still a shallow list of moves to select from. That and the default movesets could be as bad as in '12.

I'm interested to see Tyson's moveset but I doubt I'll ever use him. I was a huge fan of Tyson but just can't see myself ever using him in a modern wrestling game outside of maybe one match to kick Shamrock's ass.

I don't understand why there has to be two separate versions of Kane, Mark Henry, Rock, Jericho and Big Show then the three faces of Foley because couldn't these just be alternate attires to choose from that way we could add more people?

I don't know if I will be using classic Rock really but I am tempted to use Cactus Jack, Attitude Big Show and Attitude Jericho. Hopefully there will be some DLC because I would sure like to see The Headbangers, Gangrel, the Oddities, Marc Mero, Sable, Steve Blackman, the Acolytes and Val Venis.

I'm actually a little confused on the whole modern WWE wrestler with an Attitude version. I could see if it was just an alt attire but to waste a spot on the roster with another model of someone in the game seems like a waste.

I just liked the prison guard version better than the flack jacket one.

I figured if they went under, whoever bought the wwe license would snag yukes as well. With UFC being sold off, but THQ keeping wwe, then ea will be starting from scratch . . .or more likely just using the ea mma engine.

I Ike wwe12 and if they keep going in a positive direction (for once!), then I hope they survive or at least if they sell it off like UFC, that yukes can develop for the new publisher.

From sales figure it looks like wwe doubled UFC and while wwe sold less, it wasn't it on as many platforms (no ps2). I think I also read that sales for wwe12 were up on ps3 and Xbox 360 so not only did it sell double UFC, it is on a trend up, whereas UFC went from 3 million to 1 million. Maybe they can put those resources into a better wwe game.

Sad part is they also canned THQ San Diego. Regardless of what one thinks about all stars. The tna/ all stars engine is the closest thing that could be morphed into a sim like no mercy. Oh wel...
